Not easy to open 23 Sep 21 This is an excellent lock. Smart design, with nice features, including the foam padding that doesnt let the door jiggle (quiet) or damage the door. My only criticism is that its not easy to open for kids or elderly who have limited dexterity/power to pull the spring loaded release.
