Green cloth boards are decorated in black. Corner tips and the tips of the spine are rubbed. Color illustrated endpapers and tissue guarded frontispiece. The front hinge has a fine crack but no looseness. Pages are generally clean. Illustrated with full page black & white illustrations by the author. The seventh of the Doctor Dolittle series. There is a handwritten inscription in ink and pencil on the left page of the title page (photo #5). There are some small spots on the front and back cover boards. And slight wear along the right edge of the front cover board. No musty or smoke smell. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins (see photos for details).
