Thread: M16 x 1.5 Height: 1.18 inches or 30mm Diameter: 22mm or .865 inches NOTE: You do NOT need a jam nut for this master insert unless you are connecting to a M16x1.5 thread. If you are using a reducer inside you would use THAT size jam nut. Instructions: Drill hole with 7/8 bit or 22mm drill bit to length a bit over 30mm or 1.18 inches then put strong glue or 2 part epoxy like JB weld and insert. Wipe off excess and allow to cure for up to 24 hours. Customer recommendation " A good interference fit is .003" to .005". The directions state use a 7/8" drill bit or 22mm drill bit. 7/8" is .010" over the size of the insert. 22mm is the exact same size of the insert. It did say in the instructions to epoxy it in.
