Description: On September 9, 2009 Disneyland celebrated the Haunted Mansion’s 40th Anniversary by creating and releasing a series of “O-Pin House” merchandise, including pins, posters, limited editions, and apparel. The most exclusive of these were sold at the private dinner event, but there were still several items sold to the general public in the days after. One of the more popular items was a matted poster advertising the “AFTERLIFE REAL ESTATE O-PIN HOUSE”, with artwork and drawings of the graveyard caretaker, the lovely bride - who holds an axe behind her floral bouquet - and prominently featured, the Hatbox Ghost. If you’ve ever wondered what he’s carrying in the box, use the special flashlight - a replica of the bat stanchions used to guide you to your seat on the "Doom Buggies” - which contains a UV light that highlights hidden pictures and writing, and you’ll spot a creepy surprise. The light can also be used on the bride’s portrait, the hearse’s horse, a window in the Mansion and at the bottom of the poster is a hidden signature line where you can “Sign your life away”. The flashlight can also be used to illuminate the dueling gunmen who, as in the attraction itself, are facing each other to fire their pistols (see photo). Also included in this collection is a pin in the shape of a key, with the shaft and bit of the key formed by an axe. Very appropriate, as the figure on the bow of the key is the bride Constance. The back of each pin has the pin trading logo, the Haunted Mansion O-Pin House emblem, the Disney/China information, and an oval inside of which is stamped “est. 1969”. The poster and mat measures 13 3/4” x 17 3/4” and the drawing is 12” x 8 1/4”. A bat pin is included on the poster and can be removed for wearing. The matting has a 1/4” dent on the upper right hand corner caused by storage, which could be covered by a frame if the poster is to be mounted. The flashlight takes four SMC392-4 1.5V silver oxide batteries, which will need to be replaced; otherwise, the poster and pins are in excellent condition and all still have their original packaging.PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to purchase other items at the same time please advise me that you would like combined shipping before making payment so that I can determine the shipping fees and if one package is feasible.
