Mark Twain Riverboat (aka Steam Boat) PILOT'S CERTIFICATE... with facsimile signature of Walt Disney, Commodore. 8.25" x 7"; issued to Saturday's Toys owner, Dave Mason. Notably, the Mark Twain Pilot's certificate includes inventory number: D-574. The certificate was originally created in 1957 and was authorized at that time with Walt Disney's facsimile signature. The popular VIP Certificate was redesigned and updated on several occasions through the years. While the certificate during Walt's lifetime was simple black ink on parchment, this version includes two-color printing with the S.S. Mark Twain artwork featured in red.
