Description: Disney Sculptors Guild David Marshall Mickey Mouse Mirror Sculpture Art 1986 This vintage Mickey Mouse mirror sculpture was created by David Marshall, a division of Sculptors Guild Ltd., St. Louis. MO, under contract with Disney. It was purchased at Walt Disney World in Florida in November 1986. The items were produced in limited numbers and are difficult to find. The sculpture consists of two-toned cut mirrored glass pieces affixed to a black wooden base, with two metal D-ring hooks on the back for hanging. There are three original stickers on the back, including one with the handwritten stock number (WD1), inspector production date (7-7-86). The piece measures approximately 19 inches from Mickey's right ear to the tip of his nose and 16.5 inches from his left ear to his chin. Including the base, it is about one-half-inch thick. Some of the mirrored pieces have some loss of silvering at the edges, it would appear due to aging. Very good condition, see photos as they are part of the description.
