Shipping charges are non-refundable in transactions (even if returned as fee is used and consumed with shipping). I will generally include insurance as well (especially if $50 or more) so that may account for a little higher shipping costs. In the rare event that an insurance claim has to be filed due to lost or broken item, buyer will have to wait for the refund from USPS/shipping service. Seller wont be responsible in refunding the money of a lost or broken piece. Please note that if NEW damage to the item occurs in shipping to notify me immediately. IF an item in a listing describe presence of damage or that was repaired, then buyer upon purchasing is acknowledging that I am selling AS is and I cannot ensure that there might be damage to that SAME area in shipping or failure if adhesive with being exposed to temperature changes in shipping and provided there is already a history of compromise to the area on item (it will still be packaged safely regardless, but I have had a buyer request a refund because of this issue).
