It is illustrated throughout in full-color and black-and-white with scenes from films, vintage studio photographs, and art. The pictures that dominate the book are from the Walt Disney Archives. The author signed "Best Wishes Russell Schroeder" on the page before the title page and drew a portrait of Mickey Mouse in blue pencil. A fine musician as well as an artist, Mr. Schroeder has written and published three (3) books on Disney music titled Disney's Lost Chords Volumes 1, 2 and 3. He has also published a series of vocal/piano arrangements of complete song and background scores from several Mickey Mouse and Silly Symphony cartoons, as well as songs from Disney animated shorts and featurettes from the 1950s through 2003.
