Walt Disney's Ink and Paint department produced this stunning double aperture hand-painted limited edition cel titled "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf." It was created using archived original production art from Scenes 35 and 44. This cel originally sold for $3600. It was an edition of only 350 and this is # 25. The two hand-painted cels are on print backgrounds for presentation purposes. Nice large images of 5" and 8". Both cels are in one common frame of 37" x 18" with two mat openings of 13" x 10". A Disney seal is on each cel and Disney COA is on the back of the frame. Frame is sold as-is. Cel condition is Very Good. This landmark short was released on 5/27/33, directed by Burt Gillett. The cartoon's theme song became a national hit as well as the short, which was voted #11 in Jerry Beck's book The 50 Greatest Cartoons. The short was also voted into the National Film Registry for preservation by the Library of Congress in 2007.
