Hand painted original production cel of Circus bear Bongo, whom finally meets his dreamgirl Lulubelle. Clearly falling in love from a Scene in Walt Disney's "Fun and Fancy Free, circa 1947. Characters are all hand painted, in unrestored vintage paint and hand ink lines. Charactr size is 3.5 x 10 inches. The vintage paint is in very good condition, un-restored, original paint. Gouache paint on nitrate celluloid. Aet size is 10x12 inches. Viewable size is 8.5 x10.75. This Courvoisier set-up includes the Gallery created original background, of which the characcters are mounted. Characters are trimmed to image as most Courvoiser set-up are. Character have some areas of missing paint, but the overal image in in good condition and Consistence with era. Image is of the typical standard design by the San Francisco Gallery located on 133 Geary Street in San Francisco, California. The film is a compilation of two stories: Bongo, narrated by Dinah Shore and loosely based on the short story "Little Bear Bongo" by Sinclair Lewis; and Mickey and the Beanstalk, narrated by Edgar Bergen and based on the "Jack and the Beanstalk" fairy tale. Though the film is primarily animated, it also uses live-action segments starring Edgar Bergen to join its two stories. It's the ultimate center piece of any animation art collection.
