Lee Hankey. 40 tipped-in color plates plus black & white in-text illustrations. For condition, the bad news is that the vellum boards with their gilt decoration are quite spotted and worn. The top edge of the text block is gilt and the others untrimmed, all darkened with age. The good condition news is about the interior of the book. The color plates are all present, bright and protected by tissue. The binding and the hinges are all solid with no cracks. Light foxing to the first and last few pages, with occasional light foxing found in the text. 99 pages, measures 9.5 x 12". Please see photos for details. This is a scarce edition.
