Description: Delta WWII Era Emergency Portable Ship Signal Lantern Red Type J-l Antique WWII era DELTA Manufacturing emergency portable signal lantern from a cargo/merchant ship. Non-working/untested condition. These lanterns were hung on interior walls of ships to be used in the event of an emergency power loss. It was designed with a dual-power capability so it could run on battery and be plugged into an electric power source.. The top on/off switch moves freely. There are no cracks in the light cover and it is not foggy. The bulb inside is intact. It has some rust and a scratch here and there. Would make a great piece to add to a collection or for a display piece. It measures approx. 10" tall x 7.75" wide x 4" deep. SHIPPING IS TO THE LOWER 48 US ONLY.
