Description: Decca SXL 2029 WBG ED1 Campoli Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto Argenta Reluctant sale of some of my most loved records This is original 1958 Decca SXL 2029 wideband ED1 (1E/2E) pressing, is in well used condition but still plays well. Disc; VG VG due to a significant amount light scuffs/scratches mainly from sleeve wear. Although the disc has been cared for it shows it has had a fair amount of use. A small feel-able audible scratch towards the end of the 1st passage (side 1) making an audible pop on for several turns - 20 secs or so. Retains a nice sheen, under good light lots of very light noticeable marks to surfaces that mostly do not impact the listening experience significantly. A few other light pops and crackles in places should be expected, record does not jump or skip and provides a good listening experience, a stunning recording that really leaps out at you. Although I've collected records for 30 years, grading them difficult. The record has some audible and visual imperfections but it's generally well cared for and in VG condition. Cover; VG- The opening has sagged a little, losing its shape. There is minor ring wear and some foxing & rubbing noticeable on the laminate sleeve. To the rear there is some staining, a small written name in the top right corner, again some ring ware and foxing from storage and time! Labels; VG+ Generally very nice & vibrant lettering with only light spindle wear Original sleeve; VG Has some yellow toning to edge but generally very sound with light foxing here and there.
