Description: For the next week or so I will be listing historical vintage WWII newspapers, magazines, and other military issue items. These are all from the estate of Lt. Creely S. Buchanan, who served at Headquarters, Persian Gulf Command, Teheran, Iran during the war. They will mostly be PGC related. I will also be listing other historical vintage newspapers, some dating to the early 1800s, as well as my usual photos, documents, advertising, letters, postcards, and other ephemera. I frequent local auctions and estate sales up and down the East Coast where I pick up lots of interesting stuff and list almost all of it on Ebay. Check my other auctions for more old newspapers, military ephemera, and other fun old stuff. All items guaranteed to be vintage and original. DESCRIPTION: December 19, 1943 issue of The New York Times Overseas Weekly. Front page positive news about the progress against Japan in the Pacific, with the taking of New Britain Island. Also other war fronts. Articles on Churchill, De Gaulle, and the early days of the Civil Rights movement. Newspaper is complete and intact with all eight pages. All items guaranteed vintage and authentic - no facsimiles, reproductions or reprints. See my other auctions for more WWII items from this estate and lots of other fun old stuff! CONDITION: Excellent. Very clean. There is some age toning and the typical folds, but minimal wear on the edges and corners, no creases, rips, or other damage. Displays very nicely. US SHIPPING OPTIONS: Shipping in the US via USPS Ground Advantage in a sturdy reinforcers or a box with tracking and insurance - $7.00. WAIT FOR MY INVOICE BEFORE SENDING PAYMENT!! Email with any questions BEFORE BIDDING. ALSO; I use Ebay shipping labels. It's the only way I can prove to Ebay that I shipped a package to the proper address if ever there's a dispute. Unfortunately, those labels will always have customs information - including the actual price of the merchandise - clearly printed on them. I realize that customs fees are a concern in the UK and other countries, but you'll just have to figure that into your cost when placing bids. TO ALL BUYERS: If there's a problem, contact me. I'm easy to work with. I may goof things up once in a while, but I've always been able to work out any problems. All items guaranteed to be AS DESCRIBED. Check my feedbacks.
