There are many reflections as this Elephant is very shiny. This Elephant has gorgeous colors of white and off-white with accents of gold and platinum. The round Rinconada logo sticker is attached on the bottom. Since each Rinconada figure is all hand crafted, there are some individual differences from piece to piece. No two Elephants are exactly alike! With the celebration of their 25th Anniversary, the artists of Artesania Rinconada, twin brothers Jesus and Javier Carbajales of Uruguay, along with Jorge De Rosa (factory director), introduced the Silver Anniversary Collection. Each of the designs in this collection are accented with gold and platinum metallic glazes. Each figurine was carefully hand-carved and detailed in fine grain earthenware ceramic material. After the initial kiln firing, decoration continued with the hand application of colored slips and enamel glazes used to accent and highlight. All Silver Anniversary pieces were fired a third time to obtain the 18k gold and platinum accents.
