Dazor 1400 Articulating Magnififier Lamp CFL Circline Tabletop 32" Magnification

Description: This is a Dazor desktop magnifying and articulating lamp in great condition. The paint is in excellent condition and the unit works great. It has no damage and is very well made here in the USA. The magnification is great for crafts, jewelers, or any other trade that needs to be able to get in close and do some precise work or thorough evaluations of items. The articulating feature works well. I am not sure if the lamp head with ghe lens needs tightened or not as when it is up high it will tile down with gravity, however when extended down into the working area it stays flat and is easy to look through. Either way this unit is fantastic and the base is nice and heavy with ghe unit itself weighing just over 20 lbs. I will ship fast and pack it carefully. !!!One important factor to consider is this unit has replaceable FL bulbs. Which you may think is a downgrade from newer LED models. However in my experience LED diodes do not last the 50K hours they advertise and I have had many start blinking in just a year or two. If that happens on the LED unit which generally has integrated bulbs that are expensive and harder to replace, you are in a pickle. With the CFL bulbs they can be changed easily as well as swapped for soft white, cool white or daylight bulbs depending on your preference. To me this is huge when it comes to such a important piece of equipment. Last any shipping overcharge will be refunded minus 5.00 for the box.
