Description: This is an LP by legendary Russian violinist David Oistrakh titled "Limited Edition Volume 1," a special reissue of Oistrakh's 1952 recording of Brahms' Violin Concerto in D (Op. 77), with the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra under Kirill Kondrashin. This record was released by Melodiya in 2013 as part of its "Мелодия 50" series of special reissues in limited, numbered editions. This copy is No. 420, as indicated on the jacket. This was purchased new in a record store in New York and has never been played except recently to test it. It was never sealed but comes in a protective plastic sleeve. The jacket is an unusual type with a fold-over flap on the back. A beautiful item and a classic recording. Photos are of the actual item.
