Description: For sale is vinyl record by Dave Mason & Cass Elliot titled "Dave Mason & Cass Elliot", originally released in 1971 by Blue Thumb Records, manufactured and distributed by Capitol Records with a gate-fold presentation. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched what appears to be a tipped over martini glass (this "glass" actually represents a Winchester rifle), followed by the matrix numbers F-4/F-3, indicating that early stampers were used to make this record at Capitol Records' presssing plant, located in Winchester, Virginia. bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the record. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as Good Plus because of corner blunts, shelf rubs, ring wear and a five inch seam split along the top right hand side of the front cover. The spine has some color loss at the corners from these blunts and along the edges from shelf rubs. The corners have paper loss where there is some fraying. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint, with surfaces that are shiny and bright, in a like-new condition, without any surface scratches, sleeve marks, scuffs, smudges or spindle marks on the labels.
