DAS West Virginia Red Buds Marble: Killer Neon Stripes

This includes the JABO marbles that have aged over a decade or so that seem to have more value and chance of appreciating (much like a fine wine). I am, after all, a Sonoma County wine country resident. :-) However, once in a while, I will offer a more modern DAS marble when it is really outstanding and this is one of those cases. This Red Bud marble run by DAS has got to be one of the best runs in the past 10 years. You don't see many Red Buds for sale because I think folks are just hanging on to all the good ones. The larger lot sales are a bit of a gamble because it's hard to get all mint marbles that way. In this case, what you see is exactly what you get...a truly mint collectable. In any case, here is the information about the marble: this is one of those killer collectable marbles that come around every so often. Please allow me to describe this masterpiece to you: Of course, the first thing that blows your mind is that beautiful orange glass throughout. This West Virginia Red Buds marble run had about 10% of these marbles with this glass (based on my lot of Red Buds). The second most outstanding feature on this little gem is the neon green stripes. And don't forget that wild navy blue zigzag stripe across the middle...yahoo! Overall, the crazy multi-colored swirls represent a nice collectable marble from an outstanding marble run from the DAS corporation. I try to rotate the marbles and take pictures from multiple angles with my DSLR camera with built-in flash. This way, you see exactly what you are getting. I rotate the marble to show all sides, not just the "money" shots. This marble was made on the 3/4" marble machine and it measures 0.729" in diameter with a pair of electronic calipers.
