Description: Daniel Grayling Fogelberg (August 13, 1951 – December 16, 2007) was an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He is primarily known for his 1980s soft rock hits, including "Longer" (1980), "Same Old Lang Syne" (1981), and "Leader Of The Band" (1982). The albums up for bid include both his debut album, along with his most successful album. Home Free is the debut album , released in 1972. Upon its original release, Home Free had lukewarm success, but following a later reissue, it was certified platinum by the RIAA for certified sales of 1,000,000 copies. The album in this package is a first release on the Columbia Records label released in 1972 and was manufactured at Columbia’s Terre Haute pressing facility. It consists of 10 tracks with a run time of 46+ minutes. The cover is in VG/VG+ condition with mild wear along the edges and corners. There are no split seams and there are no signs of disc wear on the front and back covers. The artwork and graphics are sharp and there is no discoloration on the covers (see photos). The interior covers of this gatefold album are in VG+ condition and include track listings with lyrics and photos and production information. The paper inner sleeve is original and intact, but is generic in nature with no photos or graphics. The recording has been cleaned, tested and recorded using Audacity. All tracks are free of skips. The sound is strong and clear. There is mild to moderate background noise that consists of “clicks”. On testing, I detected a “click” on Side 1, track 1 and several “clicks” on Side 2, tracks 1,2,3 and 5. Of note, I ran the effected tracks through Audacity’s click removal filter with very good results and elimination of all “clicks”. The record surfaces show no sign of excessive wear or visible signs of scratches or scuffs. Perhaps a more thorough cleaning would eliminate the access noise. The Innocent Age is an album by American singer-songwriter Dan Fogelberg released in 1981. It was one of his most successful albums: three of his four Top 10 singles on the Billboard Pop chart ("Hard To Say" (no. 7), "Same Old Lang Syne" (no. 9), and "Leader of the Band" (no. 9)) were from this album, as well as another Top 20 single in "Run for The Roses" (no. 18). All four also reached the Top 10 on the Billboard adult contemporary chart, with "Leader of the Band" reaching number 1 on that chart. The album includes his song "Times Like These", from the 1980 Urban Cowboy soundtrack. Joni Mitchell, Emmy Lou Harris,Glenn Frey and Don Henley are prominent contributing vocalists. Dan Fogelberg wrote all but three of the songs on the album. The album is a 1981 release on the Full Moon label release by Epic Records and was manufactured at Columbia Records Terre Haute pressing facility. It consists of 17 tracks with a run time of 80+ minutes. The cover is in VG+ condition with very few signs of wear. All edges and corners are intact. The cover retains its gloss and there are no signs of disc wear on the front cover and only mild disc wear on the bottom of the back cover. The interior covers of this gatefold album are in VG+ condition and contain production notes. The back cover contains track listings. The paper inner sleeves are original and intact, but are generic in nature with no photos or graphics. The recording has been cleaned, tested and recorded using Audacity. All tracks are free of skips. There is very little noise, even in the quiet spaces between tracks. The sound is crisp and clear. The record surfaces show no sign of excessive wear and the surfaces are free of scratches or scuffs. The surfaces retain their gloss and all labels are clean and intact.
