Description: Daiwa Exceler in box with papers and new spool. Before you get excited, I have observed this reel would greatly benefit from a new main shaft. The current one had sat and rusted a bit. See last photo. I was able to take the spool off get the main shaft cleaned up some, but my suggestion would be to lube it or replace it (or both). It otherwise seems to work pretty well! Good bail action, anti reverse works well, and spinning action is good! There is some wear from use, but with a little effort on possible main shaft replacement, this thing looks like it'll be a lot of fun!
