Description: Welcome to our listing for this rare, retired unused, TINY hand-painted picture photo frame, "Daisy Basket mini frame" (from the "Simple Pleasures" collection), by Figi Graphics Inc. It features a daisy basket and a peach- (the details on the basket looks like real rattan/wicker!) Figi was a well-known company based in San Diego, CA, that sold distinctive, high quality hand-painted home decor, in a variety of limited run "collections." (More on Figi below***) Item Specifics: Realistic detail~ Hand-painted and diminutive in size. Will hold a tiny cropped photo- size of opening is about 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches. Frame measures about 3 3/4 in height x 3 1/4 inches (width). Has "easel back" for table-top display. Item is Hand-Painted- there are unique variations due to that. A few areas of imperfect painting which is often characteristic of small hand-painted items. This one has pretty, cheerful detail. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS. They have withstood the test of time-- now the only way to obtain or complete a set is to find them on the secondary market. Some of the collections had a short production run making them rare and difficult to obtain. Figi Graphics items were sold in specialty shops and retailers, along with specialty stationers and were pricey. They were marketed as home and office decor. Usually hand-painted with intricate detailing. We have been downsizing many of our collectibles and other rediscovered "finds" due to our significant move/downsize- Due to the pandemic, we downsized even more.
