This is a shade palm. It grows best in filtered, bright light. As it matures, the trunk turns a bright red. This plant loves water and cannot take cold weather. You will have to bring it indoors or use protection against the cold weather. There are 6 palms up for sale that are 24+ inches tall [measured from top of pot (soil level) to top of plant]. The palm is growing in a 1-gallon pot. You will receive one of the palms pictured in this listing. The pot will not be shipped. The palm will be shipped in peat moss substrate.
