Each plier is custom wrapped with matching turks head knot at the end of each handle. The wrapping is finished with multiple coats of clear urethane (rod finish). The finish makes the wrapped handles very durable and resistant to wear and tear of salt water fishing. I personally wrap and finish each plier. I had to remove the packaging from both pliers in order to wrap the handles. The pliers are new, however I will not be shipping them with their original packaging.
