Description: This listing is for the - KK4HXJ - RCA Voltohmyst WV76A assembled test probe set The WV76A uses a switchable test probe like many types of test equipment of the day but due to lack of appropriate retail quality probe bodies - "switchable" probes are not available The KK4HXJ solution is a "Siamese" test probe, which has seperate probes for x10 and x1 (Direct) Probes these devices are especially subject to RF interference and shielding of test leads is imperitive, this design uses a Switchcraft 2501F Connector This Set is specialized for the RCA Voltohmyst WV76A and is a Replacement for the Original - WG-300B Direct/Low Capacitance Switchable Test Probe This set includes 2 seperate Probes with one connector plus a seperate Ground Lead: x10 Probe - the Low-Capacitance Probe uses a 9.1 Meg Resistor and 10pF Axial Ceramic Capacitor which are in parallel inside the probe body (the original values were 9 Meg and 8.6pF but due to tolerances of the components which were 10% and 20% respectively - the supplied components are deemed excellent replacements due to their tighter tolerances) x1 (Direct) Probe Ground Wire - Black Banana Plug - Black Test Lead Wire to Alligator Clip The unit is presented in a Labeled, Retail Quality, Reusable, 4 Mil Poly Ziplock Bag and is wrapped with a Reusable Velcro Strip to keep the leads organized and ready.
