Description: You are bidding for a custom vintage Star Wars Droids Brazilian Glasslite Vlix MOC Vlix represents an obscure character from the short-lived Droids cartoon series & is the rarest of all Star Wars figures to be commercially released. In the States, it was scheduled for release in Kenner's 2nd series of Droids action figures, but, due to the cancellation of the show, it was never issued. Vlix was only released in Brazil by Glasslite in 1988 & very few are known to exist. Vlix FigureThis Vlix is injection molded in color ABS and PVC plastic from steel molds (cast from an original Brazilian Glasslite Vlix), fully articulated & spray-painted. It comes complete with a black rifle (cast from an original Hoth Stormtrooper rifle). Figure is marked “cópia” so it cannot be passed on as a vintage original.BlisterA plastic packaging firm reproduced this high quality reproduction Vlix blister & it was created by using an authentic blister as reference material making it virtually identical to the original vintage design. As you can see from the pictures, the blister provides a very snug fit for the Vlix figure. The blister is attached to the card-back using a die cut adhesive seal that gives it a uniform "factory sealed" appearance.Card-backA printing firm printed this amazing card-back from an original so it is extremely sharp & glossy. The card-back is machine die-cut & it is punched! The card images were created from high resolution scans of an original Glasslite card-back which were then edited & enhanced in Adobe Photoshop. The images were printed on full sheet labels, which were then applied to a thin piece of brown cardstock to give the custom card-back an authentic appearance.
