Description: Gideon Rettich Woodworker on Facebook Custom Order-Table in Photos is Sold This is one of my versions of a 1958 George Nakashima for Widdicomb Sundra table made from walnut. The person who ordered this table requested a slab leg and thicker top along with the lathe turned legs. Dimensions of the table photographed are 48" between the widest points and a maximum of 24" depth x 18" tall. I can make this table in different sizes, heights and configurations to suit your needs and wants. Two of the legs are lathe turned, the one leg in the rear is a triangular slab making the table very sculptural, triangles, curves and negative spaces. The table is finished with five to six coats of a tung oil/varnish mix and a top coat of furniture paste wax. Other finishes are available as well. Each table will be a bit different due to grains and colors in the wood, widths of boards available (2 pieces, 3 or 4). Shipping via UShip private shippers or plycon.
