It is for display, not for sale. ♥ I will use your own photos as reference for your House Portrait. Make sure that you have at least one clear photo that shows the whole house in the angle that you like best. I will use a main primary photo to show the structure, angle/view, and perspective. Additional close-up photos are helpful for details. The photo should show the entire house. ♥ You can customize your picture!Let me know if you want something added or deleted, enhanced, or altered on your photo(s). We can even change the season if you want !( I will naturally omit things like the neighbor's house, cars, road signs and micellaneous etceteras.) ♥ You can personalize your House Portrait to include your pet~~send along a photo or description of "himmer"! ♥ A hand-written caption such as a name, address, or brief text can be added. ♥ The house portrait is not matted or framed. You can easily get an affordable store-bought mat and frame to fit the standard 8" X 10" size artwork. ♥ The house portrait is handsigned on the front ,and signed with date and authenticity details on the back. ♥ The artwork is backed with rigid foam board, protected with a clear sleeve and ships flat in a sturdy package. FAQ>>>> ♥♥What is the turnaround time for a House Portrait ?The turnaround time for a House Portrait varies depending on my schedule of commissions, the size of the artwork, and the season. Please check with me before you order so that I can give you a definite time frame. If you have a tight deadline I have gift certificates available.My portraits are hand-rendered, not computer generated or enhanced, so it's a good idea to plan ahead. I don't like to hurry the process if possible. Before you order , I will let you know what date you can expect your finished artwork. ♥♥Can I have some things deleted from my photo? Can I add extra things to my photo? I will naturally omit things like the neighbor's house, cars, road signs and micellaneous etceteras. You can let me know what you would like deleted, enhanced or added. ♥♥Can I change the season from what shows in my photo ?Yes ! I can make a winter season from another season. Or a green season from a winter season if you can give me photos or notes of landscaping, etc. ♥♥How many photos should I submit?If you have one good clear detailed photo, showing the house in the angle you want , without distortion, that should work out fine. You can send additional photos showing random close-up details also. ♥♥Can I use multiple photos for the final artwork?Sort of. I will want to use a main primary photo of the whole house, in the angle/view that you want. I need it for the structure and perspective. If you can't get the whole house in one photo I recommend taking consecutive shots from one exact camera position. It's important that the perspective isn't distorted. ♥♥Can I add my pet(s) ?Absolutely ! There isn't extra cost to add pets. You can send a photo or description of "himmer". He will be small in scale. ♥♥Can I add family members to my picture?Yes. I don't add extra cost to include people. The figures would be small in scale and stylized, not meant to be exact likenesses. You can send a photo so that I can see the age ,height, and basic figure. Please check the samples in my shop listings that include people. ♥♥Can I order notecards in addition to my finished artwork?I can send you the digital file of the photo I will take of the finished artwork. You can use it to make additional prints in various sizes or notecards of your House Portrait. You can send the file to a printer or print yourself at home. ♥♥Can I add a caption such as a name and address ?Yes . I can add a hand-lettered text. Please check the samples in my shop. ♥♥ Is the finished artwork matted and framed?The house portrait is not matted or framed. You can easily get affordable store-bought mat and frames to fit the standard sizes of my house portraits. ♥♥ What are the artists' materials used to create my picture?I use Micron pens with archival fade-proof ink , artists' watercolors, and heavyweight Watercolor Paper. I use heavyweight Bristol Paper for the pen&ink only portraits. ♥♥ How is my finished painting delivered?The house portrait is handsigned on the front ,and signed with date and authenticity details on the back.The artwork is backed with rigid foam board, protected with a clear envelope and extra cardboard support.
