Description: This knife is made of hardened 1095 high carbon steel with segmented ironwood and red G-10 handles.The knife is 8" long, 1 1/2" high, x 1/8" thick. The blade is 3 inches long. This a custom, caringly hand-made, one-of a kind knife and handle all made by me.It's been heat treated by bringing the steel to 1,450 degrees Fahrenheit (non-magnetic) for ultimate hardness, then tempered twice at 400 degrees for toughness. It's a very well-made knife that will hold a sharp edge. I'm proud to say I made it. I also make custom leather sheaths for my knives. Not everyone wants or needs a sheath, so I make them as requested.
