Description: 5 fresh seeds from my tree. The curry tree (Murraya koenigii), also known as karivepaku, karibevu, karivepallai, karivembu, or kadipatta, is a kind of tree. It is found mostly in hot climates, and is a native plant of India. The leaves of the curry tree are called curry leaves or sweet Neem leaves. Usually, curry trees grow to 4-6 metres tall, and their trunk grows to 40 centimetres in diameter. Small black, shiny berries that grow on the tree can be eaten, but their seeds are poisonous. Please place each seed in a pot with soil and leave it by a sunny window. Water daily. It should sprout within 7 days. I cannot list them as organic because I don't have certification but the seeds are from my own organic kitchen garden. I don't guarantee that they will sprout even though I have had 100% success with every seed I have planted. PLEASE SOAK SEEDS IN WARM WATER FOR A DAY! PS - I am adding photos of successful germination from my seeds. I do the same thing with all of them - soak for a day; squeeze into a pot of good soil; place in a warm western sun window; keep moist and drained. What I have in the photos are seedlings from 6 weeks ago, 3 weeks ago, and just 1 week ago. It really is magic! I wait until they grow too big for the pot and gently transplant them onto the ground in a spot that is 1) facing the setting sun, and 2) touching a house wall (needed for warmth during winter). Do this, and you will have a jungle of curry leaves soon enough - we had to cut ours because it started to block our view ;-)
