Description: One very nice, pre-owned, vintage (1980) Currier & Ives, "THE FOUR SEASONS" Limited Edition Decorative plate. A part of the Roy Thomas Collection. At almost 40 years old, this plate is in good condition. There are flaws that are associated with the actual production of the plate: there is a part of the gold filigree missing, and 4 bubbles or blebs in the porcelain. There are fine scratches that have occurred from handling or storing through the years as well as the "T" in Winter is partially rubbed off. It's a very nice piece of art, both the picture itself and the plate. Enjoy a bit of history and the beautiful work of the Americans, Mr. Currier and Mr. Ives.
