The vivid floral pattern really stands out against the white background. The pansies with their faces are so cute nestled in their green leaves. The rims are beautifully trimmed in gold. The foot of the cup is trimmed in a gold band. CONDITION: While this set is classified as used, the condition is excellent. The only gold wear is in two small spots on the cup rim. See the photos. There are no chips, other nicks, cracks, rubbings, scratches or hairlines. The cup and saucer have no crazing. There are no utensil marks. DIMENSIONS: The cup has a diameter of 3 1/2" with a height of 2 3/4". The capacity of the cup is 7 ounces. The deep saucer has a diameter of 5 3/8" and a height of 3/4". HISTORY/MARKS: There is no marking on the bottom of either the cup or saucer. We think this is probably Japanese due to the feel of the porcelain and the thinness as you can see your finger shadows through the cup and saucer.
