Description: I am starting to sell a massive collection of Confederate bonds that came from Sutherby in 1987. This collection contains over 200 bonds and numerous other Civil War error material. The photo copy shows the stamps from the Neatherlands showing the bond was sold overseas. That is a copy of the back of this bond Here we have a confederate $500 bond issued August 19, 1861 it has a redemption date July 1, 1873 with 13 remaining coupons left. A total of 1,397 of these have been issued. Please look at the pictures for condition. I am not removing them from the plastic that they have been in due to the age of the artifact.
