Description: This wonderful piece of vintage CALICO cheese dish and dome lid is made in Staffordshire, England by the Crownford China Co. I display this piece on a raised cake plate in my home and in these pictures so you can see and appreciate the shape of this charming two-piece set of Calico (the raised cake plate is not included in this sale). The blue and white base plate measures 9.5” in diameter x 1” high and the dome cover is 7.75” in diameter x 6” high. These pieces are in excellent preowned vintage condition, no chips, or cracks, just moderate base rim discoloration and glaze crazing on the plate and dome, commensurate with vintage age, as shown in pictures. You will love this incredible two-piece cheese dish and dome!
