Description: This item is a rare, vintage set of Creative Playthings Animal Finger Puppets #F0352 stored in the original box consisting of 5 different finger puppets with painted wooden heads and denim colored cloth bodies. Manufactured in Japan. Creative Playthings was an educational toy store & catalogue started in the 1940s by Frank & Theresa Caplan; CBS purchased the company in 1966. The item is in excellent used condition given its age and normal use over 5-6 decades. The box is a bit tattered and worn (see pictures); there is a name written on one side of the box (see pictures); some of the paint on the wooden heads is scuffed/rubbed/transferred/missing (see pictures); and the bottom of the cloth bodies have some loose strings (see pictures). The ears on four puppets may need to be reshaped (see pictures).
