Cream legbar eggs are often deceptive in their appearance. They tend to be more spherical than most chicken eggs, and because of this they look shorter and therefore smaller. But, if you weigh the eggs you will find they nicely compare to other breeds. A dozen legbar eggs selected at random on our farm weighs over 25 oz.Given their flamboyant feathering and ability to produce pastel eggs, it?s easy to overlook the enormously practical advantage that cream legbars bring to the backyard poultry breeder; their auto-sexing function.They are by far the most inquisitive and friendly breed that I have here on the farm. Eggs will be shipped on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday after you purchase eggs. Usually the next day. I will bubble wrapped and they will double boxed. Please pay right after auction closes so I can get the eggs shipped as soon as possible. Eggs will be no more than 3 days old at time of shipment and in most cases 1 day old. The eggs will be packed securely so you will have the best possible chances of hatching. I cannot guarantee the eggs to hatch for various reasons - x-rays, tossed boxes, weather etc.... I have no control over how they are handled during the trip, incubated at your farm, or other factors that can harm hatchability. Perfectly fertile eggs will not develop or hatch when subjected to rough postal handling, X-rays or incubator mishaps. It is very risky shipping eggs. The USPS does a great job most of the time but, I cannot refund of replace eggs if they fall short and take too long of time delivering your eggs. I ship priority mail HOWEVER the USPS does not guarantee a time even though they say 1-3 day delivery. If you do not agree with these terms DO NOT BUY!
