Description: Crazy Al Hang Tiki Mug LEFrom 2012. Maker: Crazy Al. This is the Hang Tiki style mug which is style #34. There were 250 of this mug design made, this mug is #39/250 but is only 1 of 2 mugs that were given the "Antiki Blue" custom color glaze. Depending upon the light, the mug is an overall a dark brown glaze. The glaze in the grooves has a blue tint (first photo) and picks up that coloring when in direct light, any kind of shadow you don't see it, it just looks brown.This full body tiki is sporting a wide grin and giving the shaka sign with a hibiscus flower on the back of his hand. Ornate tapa patterning around the lips and eyes. Top and bottom have palm bark design. Designed off of a carving from 2001 and from a Tiki Farm mug from 2002. Overall addition of 250 in this design includes: #1-50 in artist proof/deluxe/custom colors. #51-150 was in a baja brown one color glaze and #'s 151-250 were in 4 editions of 25 different glazes.Comes with the original signed certificate paper with color glaze info.
