Description: Hello, You are looking at a Corgi Douglas C-47 Skytrain Diecast Model US Army 101st Airborne Div, Normandy, France, D-Day, June 6th 1944 (HC34304). in 1:144 scale. Length - 5.25", Width - 8". Corgi's 1:144 scale DC-3/C-47 series includes both military transports and iconic passenger airliners (air stairs included with some releases). These models are constructed almost entirely of diecast metal with only the smallest amount of plastic used, a quality shared by most of Corgi's 1:144 scale aircraft. The pad-printed windows and doors on each models' fuselage provide a seamless touch that does not interrupt the lines of the aircraft. The tail and wing with integrated engine nacelles are solid diecast metal. Radial engine detail is present inside the engine nacelles behind the thinly stamped all-metal propellers.Corgi diecast airplanes include some of the following parts/items: Diecast metal construction with some components that are plastic or other materials. Landing gear with rotating plastic or rubber wheels depending on the model. Some have a stand to display the aircraft. Many limited editions come with numbered certificate of authenticity. May have Hand-painted pilot and crew member figures. May include moving parts such as gun turrets, flaps or control surfaces and swing-wings. Other parts may be included depending on the item.
