Description: CORGI AVIATION ARCHIVE Genuine PRE PRODUCTION MODEL This item is really from the Corgi Aviation Archive of test painted and cast models. Made from Resin / Die Cast as a design sample to give the look of what Corgi was going to produce in die cast form.It is missing the tail wheel. So what you see is what you get. The Nose in front of the cockpit is not painted black like the production model so this ie the model that was probably used for the box cover image.It may also be spray painted compared to the released model. Usually, only 3 hand made Resin or Resin / Metal samples were made for any particular model. Most of the examples offered were originally used for Trade Preview tours.The providence of this model is from the Corgi Sales Director for display at the Corgi Heritage Centre in Heywood, Greater Manchester. This is your chance to own a piece of real Corgi history.Comes in the foam packaging trays and a cardboard outer cover box only. See pictures for details.
