Description: The fractional denominations of the February 17, 1776 Continental issue are often referred to as Fugio notes. The sundial rebus can be seen on the front and the linked colonies on the reverse, both of these devices were designed by Benjamin Franklin and prepared by Elisha Gallaudet. This $1/6 note was the lowest denomination of Continental currency printed. Wholesome VF example that is free of problems. Incredible note for the price.
