The lioness has come crashing through the cover of the tall grass pouncing on the unsuspecting victim. With both a mixture of luck and ability, the gazelle leaps from the clawed grasp of death, given one more chance at life. The handmade bronze sculpture was cast using the archaic method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation. It is mounted upon a black variegated marble base with the European Bronze Finery stamp of quality and the artist E. Villanis`s signature.
