Description: Interesting 6th plate ambrotype of a Confederate soldier wearing his battle shirt. Underneath the brass mat and beneath the cover glass is a second, unusual silver paper mat, and on the back the photographer used some graphic paper. The entire package of ambrotype, silver paper mat, and backing paper is sealed with original paper seals, which are still unbroken. This image was found in Arkansas.
