COMPLETE Technics SL-J2 Direct Drive Auto Turntable, Good(?) Condition, **READ**

Description: Have you seen a more complete, original package? This turntable was purchased in college and not used since. It was stored as it originally came, with both turntable locks, cartridge lock, etc. Even the cardboard in the front under the lid (see pic 5), and the protective covering for the lid (see pic 7). INCLUDES ALL original packing materials (box, styrofoam, manual, etc). Even the price tag! INCLUDES Ortofon OMP 5 E cartridge! INCLUDES my extensive LP collection (pictured)! It worked perfectly when I packaged it back up and stored it. But, alas, it appears age and lack of use has caught up to it... EVERYTHING still works (tested for sound output) EXCEPT:The turntable does not spin at a consistent rateThe rubber turntable mat has degraded (see below)I'm sure it just needs a good de-greasing and re-lubing. When I ship, I'll pack the box in another box with padding to protect it. ****** The Rubber Mat ****** The oil has started separating from it.About 4" of the outer edge is kinda wavy. It's a little "cupped". Replacement (original and aftermarket) mats can be found. The mat dimensions are: Thickness = 7/64" or 2.94 mm Diameter = 10 15/16"
