Description: This is rare find – a reasonably priced 12-inch Madame Alexander set of Little Women Dolls. This is the COMPLETE set of 6 dolls – Jo (1322) Amy (1320, Meg (1323), Beth (1321), Marme (1324) and Laurie (1326). Each doll comes with its original tag, box (w/tissue but the tissue is crinkled), and doll stand. The set has been on display in a display case in a non-smoking household. They have never been played with. Some boxes have some condition issues –some wear on the edges, a broken corner on Meg’s and Beth’s boxes. Beth’s box also has a small rip on the edge.The doll clothes, which are the original Madame Alexander garb that the doll came with with, are in very good condition. Again, they have never been played with. I bought the dolls from a doll shop in Northeast Ohio. As you can see from the photos, I paid $60 each for them. I didn’t mind paying that because my daughter was reading (and enjoying) Louisa Mae Alcott’s Little Women and I thought she’d like them. So I put the wonderful boxes away in a closet to give to my daughter at Christmas. Unfortunately, I forgot where I stored them and Christmas came and went – about 20 times. When I moved to my new house, I found the dolls but my daughter had outgrown dolls and Louisa Mae Alcott. That’s when I put the dolls on display. I want them to stay together so I’m selling them for an unbelievably low price. I’m selling them for $20 each but you are getting 6 dolls for the $100 price. Amy needs to be restrung (which costs about $25 in Ohio), so she’s “free” in this buy it now. Since they are “going together,” you’ll get a real deal on the shipping. And what makes this even better, a portion of the proceeds goes to the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank – that would make the whole March family happy.
