The bindings, the gold details, the illustrations, even the paper itself is all beautifully considered and the end result is a remarkable collection of fantasy tales, mythologies, and legends. The pictures included show all the books on the lower tier are still bound in their original shrink wrap and the books on top are without shrink wrap. 7 shrink wrapped and 5 without. Needless to say it is a stunning collection that sits beautifully in a bookcase as a rainbow to enlighten the space. It is hard to explain the thoughtfulness of the Folio Society efforts in printing remarkable and artisan books.
