Complete Guide to Modern Knitting and Crocheting by Alice Carroll, 1949 by Wise & Co., hardcover with dust jacket (which has quite a lot of wear including small chips and closed tears), 310 pages, illustrated with b/w photos, 9.2 x 6.2", the name Helen Chamberlain is neatly written on the first loose page. It is so interesting to see all the items that (mostly) women made for their homes and families.
