Description: Captain America #109 Marvel Comic – 1969 Condition & Grade: Very Shiny Flat. Very Nice Comic for its age. Easily in Mid-Grade + Range. I bought Brand New when I was a kid and all wear is from me as sole owner. The wear is minimal as I attempted to always protect my comics. Never stored in an attic or basement. Overall, no corner, edge, tear, staple, color, writing, fold, or crease flaws. Basic flaws are cover minor spine stress marks, insignificant dinky clear stain (can see when looking parallel into a light, insignificant storage pressure marks. On back, insignificant spines stress marks, few minor storage pressure marks. Captain America #109 Character Info (from Marvel site): Featured Characters: Captain America (Steve Rogers - appears in flashback). Supporting Characters - United States Army (only in flashback), Bucky (James Barnes), Project Super-Soldier, General Phillips (Unnamed), Professor Reinstein (Death), Agent R, Dr. Anderson, Under-Secretary Simms (Unnamed), Sgt. Mike Duffy, S.H.I.E.L.D. Nick Fury. Antagonists: Onloy in flashback – Nazis, Gestapo, Heinz Kruger (Death - Name first revealed), Fifth Column. Purchase Condition: To be sold-as (have no control after delivery and I’m as detailed and honest as possible per the listing descriptions). CGC future grading: Since I’m now retired, getting close to sending Mid-Range to High Comics for CGC gradings, but no time yet. Grading & Method: All comics, front & back, are visually inspected by looking parallel into a light. I don’t give any comic a Near Mint/Mint/Gem rating (even if they could be). I’m not a professional grader, so I give comics a low grade, mid-grade, or high-grade range and pictures for the Buyer to review, and my feedback rating is stellar on my thousands of comics I’ve sold over the past decade on my selling sites. I have reviewed the CGC/Overstreet grading standards & ranges, and to my best & honest ability, this comic(s) falls into this range. Comic History: Bought most of my comics 40 to 50+ years ago, Brand New when issued, and have kept them in storage, out of light, and protected in a plastic sleeve & firmboard backing (both acid-free). I was more of a collector than a comic reader and any flaws are solely from me and/or storage. Picture: From a Canon digital camera with high pixels.
