Description: Comanche Land by J. Emmor Harston, 1963 1st edition 2nd printing Tejas Indian Nation - a fascinating first person account of the end of the Comanche in the second half of the 1800's and their history - a true history that everyone should read. Harston grew up at a trading post on the American West frontier and personally knew and traveled with some of the last Comanches. This book is his life's work. Book is in Good condition with significant wear and shelf wear, ex library with typical associated stickers, stamps, card holder, discard stamp, date due stamp, pencil marks inside front cover, age toned pages, creases, etc. This is a well worn book. Covers and pages are square. Pages inside are unmarked. The binding is sound but loose, but book can be easily handled. Dust jacket is protected by clear cover and is in good conditions with a few small tears and creases. Please see pictures as they are considered part of the condition description. I take numerous photos of the actual item and describe it as accurately as I can so you don't have to risk your buying decision on stock photos and generic condition descriptions. A portion of this sale goes to a food bank in honor of my father-in-law who ran a food bank. Many people experience hunger on a regular basis and they rely on food banks. Thank you for supporting them with your purchase. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: If you are unhappy with any aspect of this transaction, please contact me immediately. I will work hard to keep buyers happy and to resolve the rare problem promptly. QUALITY PACKAGING: I care about your purchase! I package books and DVDs protected in plastic sleeves for water protection and wrapped carefully for safe and secure shipping. There are cheaper, easier, and faster ways to package items for shipping but the risk of damage during shipment is not worth it for you or me. I’m proud of the positive feedback I have received related to packaging. USPS MEDIA MAIL: I ship books and DVDs by USPS media mail. Media mail is generally reasonably fast, but can rarely take up to 8 days, so please be patient. Shipping outside of the U.S. is handled by the eBay Global Shipping program. I ship to the eBay international shipping clearing house in Kentucky and eBay takes it from there. eBay adds on the extra cost for international shipping and I have no control over that cost or how long it takes. eBay should give you a shipping estimate/total on the listing page for your particular order. POSITIVE FEEDBACK: If you believe you would be happy to purchase something from me again in the future, please consider leaving me positive feedback for this purchase as it really helps small eBay sellers like me. I leave feedback for buyers once they have posted feedback for me. Let's do this together! Enjoy!
