Description: Collectors, here is a fun disc, 10 inch A1729, circa 1913. Billy Williams sings two of his songs, with orchestra: "I Wish it Was Sunday Night" and "All the Silver from the Silvery Moon". Mr. Williams (1878 - 1915) was an Australian who moved to England and was a popular music hall and vaudeville entertainer, singing cheerful, upbeat songs. Stylistically, he reminds me of (Sir) Harry Lauder. "Sunday Night" was one of his most popular songs. Clever lyrics and a fine delivery, you will enjoy both tunes! The record plays very well with little surface noise, sounds great! A super duper and hard to find record, go for it! Shipping to USA addresses only. $4.95 media mail postage and handling fee, record will be carefully packed and shipped in a new box. Please pay within 24 hours of purchase and I will leave you positive feedback when I ship the record, your positive feedback appreciated!! See my store for other early 78s and thanks for looking!!
