Description: As well as three previous volumes, articles printed here have not been reproduced in the sequence that they were originally published but have been loosely grouped together in three sections to common theme and arranged in chronological order within the section – this video is divided into three sections. The first section deals with the Battle of Britain and for the first time in the compendium series, this section contains some material that relates to the German Luftwaffe. Much of this material is drawn from contemporaneous British Intelligence reports and is intended to bring a fresh perspective to a comparatively well-known subject. All it is possible to be skeptical of some of the things that were reported, there are a number of surviving artifacts, such as the section of a BF 109 fuselage that is shown in the photographs included in the Updates section, that do lend some veracity to some of the reports. The second section deals with some of the color schemes that were applied to British bombers and strike aircraft from 1944 to 1964. The section opens with a previously unpublished Colour Conundrum that deals with a camouflage trial carried out by the bombing development unit over the winter of 1943-44 in an attempt to improve the camouflage of the RAF's Night Bombers. Again, for the first time in the compendium series, the third session contains material that deals with other aspects of what might've been in the form of a number of “Counterfactual” subjects. Over the last few years, there has been a growing amount of interest in a whole spectrum of "what if” and “Counterfactual” subjects. While these two subjects are similar, they are subtly different.
